So yesterday, I had the wonderful opportunity to play on one of my friend’s face. The gif below may or may not be an exact replica of what I was feeling on the inside when she agreed to let me publish it on my youtube channel.
Now when someone agrees to give you a blank canvas, you have to use it wisely! I decided to go for something fresh and soft- gold eyes and mauve lips.
To start, I used the NYX Pore Filler. It helps to fill pores and mattify the face. Then, I mixed Maybelline Fit Me in 238 and 355. It was about 80% of the 238 and 20% of the 355 to get her perfect shade.
I used 238 as her undereye concealer and set that with L’Oreal True Match powder in N1. Then, I lightly set the rest of her face with her face powder. For brows, I used my trusty Mac eyeshadow in Embark.
For the eyes, I used Lorac eyeshadow primer, then I began by using the Ciate London Olivia Palermo Smokey Suedes Palette. I used the gold on her entire lid, then used the rose gold in the inner and outer corners. Then, I used a mix of the matte purple and the dark wine color in the outer V. I deepened that with Burnt Umber from Coastal scents and also used Burnt Umber as her crease color. For the brow bone highlight, I used the center cream color from the Ciate London palette. Finally, I highlighted her inner tear ducts with the champagne color in the Ciate London palette and added the L’Oreal voluminous mascara.
I contoured with the Ulta contour kit with the shades bombshell and golden. The blush was Aplum by Lancome, and then completed the face by highlighting with the lustre highlighter in the Ulta contour kit combined with the Honest Beauty highlighter.
Finally, I finished the look by lining her lips with the Palladio lip liner in Sand. La fin!
